Manufacturing Assistant - Auckland
Based in East Tamaki, Gary's Garden Sheds are on the hunt for a Manufacturing Assistant to join our small and friendly team now. We are a well-established and growing family business that pride ourselves on our excellent reputation and quality workmanship. Our new team member will need to uphold this standard!
In this role you will be assisting the Factory Foreman ensuring customer schedules and deadlines are being adhered to, along with cutting and folding the shed components, ensuring jobs are accurately prepared for our installers and much more! You’ll need to have a great work ethic and enjoy working in a practical and hands on role.
You may have years of experience in a similar role, or are simply looking for a change, either way we want to hear from you if you:
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have high attention to detail and accuracy in order to provide high quality products at all times
- Are physically fit and able to be on your feet for long periods of time – previous labouring experience is ideal but not essential
- Be able to follow Health and Safety procedures and practices at work
- Excellent time management and are punctual and reliable
- Have a can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in wherever needed
- Have strong organisational skills and the ability to change priorities as the day unfolds
You will need to maintain a full and current drivers’ license, with flexibility to travel is a must as out of town work may be required at times.
