Each shed is custom made and designed to best suit your needs, allowing you to get exactly what you want. We will help you choose the colours, window and door placement, roof type and other optional extras if required. We have our standard sizes and prices as a place to start for those unsure what might work on their site.

Quality NZ Colorsteel with Seriously Strong Design

At Gary’s Garden Sheds we pride ourselves in offering the best quality shed on the market at affordable prices. Our sheds are built to last with a proven design and strengthened by using quality products to suit NZ’s harsh conditions. We only use NZ Colorsteel, a thicker gauge steel than other products on the market for extra strength and durability. We encourage our customers to come and visit our showroom and inspect our sheds as the quality speaks for itself.

No corner joins, we fold the Colorsteel around the corners for added weather tightness and maximal strength.

Tanalised plywood floor with H4 treated bearers for durability and strength.

NZ Colorsteel Endura 0.4mm high tensile steel for extra strength and durability. Ideal for resistance against harsh NZ conditions.

Doors slide on the outside of the shed to maximise storage space inside. Doors are padlock ready (padlock not supplied).

Sheds are designed with folded heavy gauge channels, rivetd for strength and durability.

All our sheds have folded steel gutters to control water flow and have the option to add stoppers & droppers.

Roofing

Our sheds are built with either a lean-to or gable roof. Depending on the size of the shed we will let you know which roof options are available for your size, but we do try and accommodate any preferences.

Lean-to: Our smaller sheds are supplied with a sloped lean-to roof. Lean-to roofing is usually sloped towards the back of the shed, however if you prefer to change the water flow towards the front of the shed the roof can be reversed to suit.

Gable: Gable sheds can be supplied with the gable facing the front or the side depending on the size of the shed.

Roof Height: The shed only standard outside heights are approx 2.1m on the high points and 1.9m on the low. We offer extra height as an optional extra increasing in 100mm increments to a maximum of 300mm.

Flooring

Your shed can be built directly onto lawn, dirt, concrete or decking. Our professional installers will make sure your shed base and floor is secured and level on your site using H4 treated 4×2 bearers and H3 18mm plywood flooring for durability and strength. No preparation required other than providing us with a cleared site, saving you time and money.
